Bio + Contact

Kent Plummer, a likeable guy:

My work has appeared on CTV, CBC, aired during Cineplex Pre-Shows, been featured on The National, The Weather Network, Sirius XM's The Howard Stern Show, on RollingStone.com, Jimmy Kimmel Live, and in the Globe & Mail.

I began my career in the Technology Service Marketing at Hewlett-Packard as Canadian lead for HP Enterprise before transitioning to a producer & content director. I have shot and produced video campaigns for gold mines in West Africa (during the Ebola outbreak), toured with a pro-wrestling company (digital team), managing national CPG brand and crisis communications, and put together some of the least boring corporate videos you’ve ever seen.

Specialties: Creative direction and strategic storytelling through communication campaigns (ie. making you look exceptional). Building meaningful relationships & coaching creative teams to greatness. Guiding enterprise-level AI to reduce costs, create efficiencies, and increase turn around time.

Directed and produced projects in 7 languages, across 5 continents, with tight timelines and teams of all sizes for very different kinds of customers. From Non-Profits to to businesses with market caps North of $30 billion.

I love fully understanding business problems and coming up with messaging solutions to address them. My business background has afforded me an analytic perspective that guides me as a creative director, producer, and business partner. I strive to find the best creative ideas and lead teams to exceed stakeholder expectations.

I founded Ossington Creative in 2012, now lead Xander Kent Corp., and am always open to projects that move me. So, if you have a story that needs to be told - or if you are having trouble figuring out what that story is - please reach out and I’ll see what we can cook up.
